Prowler Soho has announced
it will once again be holding a week long series of activities, in support of
World AIDS Day. Now into its third year, Prowler Soho World AIDS Week is designed
to provide more than just one charity the chance to raise much needed funds, to
help fight the spread of HIV and increase awareness of the virus.
Simon Topham, Managing Director of Millivres Prowler Group
said “at a time when infection rates are still far too high, we are committed
to working with a number of charities to support those affected by HIV/AIDS.
More that this though, we are keen to help raise awareness of the importance of
being tested, to ensure anyone receiving a positive diagnosis can benefit from
the best possible care and treatment”.
This year representatives from 56 Dean Street Clinic will also be in the
store, to promote the HIV Testing World Record Attempt at G-A-Y Bar on World
AIDS Day, Saturday 1st December.
The Prowler Soho World AIDS Week fund-raising schedule is as
follows:
Monday 26/11 – Positive 21 and MAD Trust
Tuesday 27/11 – Positive East
Wednesday 28/11 – Make a Difference Trust
Thursday 29/11 – Metro Centre & Food Chain
